A fairly good (but no-frills) rendition of the classic Space Invaders game. There isnt much new here, but youre pretty much guaranteed it will work with any PC youve got laying around your house, so this would be a good game to try on the good old 8086/8088 that youve got laying around. ;) Its not bad overall but it is very basic.Clone Invader is a retro-style arcade game that is heavily inspired by the classic Space Invaders. It features a similar premise and gameplay, where players control a spaceship to defend against waves of invading aliens. The game is simple, addictive, and follows the same principles of space-themed defense that made its inspiration so popular.Objective: The main objective is to defend your base (or spaceship) from waves of alien invaders by shooting them before they reach the bottom of the screen. The player has to eliminate all enemies in each wave to progress to the next stage, with each wave becoming increasingly difficult. Controls: The spaceship is typically controlled using left and right arrow keys or a mouse to move along the bottom of the screen. The player can shoot upwards to destroy the enemies. The player can also utilize power-ups or shields, depending on the version, to aid in their defense. Enemies: The enemies in Clone Invader are often designed to resemble alien ships, and they move in a structured pattern—typically left to right, down a bit, and then back to the opposite side. Some versions of the game might feature bosses or special invaders with unique abilities. Levels and Difficulty: The game consists of multiple levels, and with each new level, the speed and number of enemies increase. The enemies might also change in appearance or behavior as the game progresses, forcing the player to adapt their strategy. Power-ups: Certain versions of the game may introduce power-ups that the player can collect by shooting certain enemies or objects. These can include things like rapid fire, shields, or extra lives.
