Viking Siege

About this game

Viking Siege is a PC version of the ancient board game "Hnefatafl" aka "Viking Chess". It looks a little like chess, but plays very differently. There are a different number of pieces on each side, and only one king. The white side tries to move the king off the board, while the black side tries to surround and capture the king. There is a full tutorial included in the program (press F5 at the menu) so you can get the full rules there. You can play against the PC, or against a human opponent. It seems like a pretty decent version of the board game!
