Turrican II

About this game

Turrican is a celebrated franchise of run-and-gun platforming shooters, where you leap through the levels collecting powerups and blasting everything in your path. This demo version of Turrican II is from the German publisher, although the in-game text is in English. The graphics and sounds are both good and there is lots of action to be found here. Although the Turrican series is not as well known as Duke Nukem, it offers similar kinds of action. (The original Duke Nukem game even "borrowed" some graphics from Turrican!) Definitely worth checking out. (The developers offer the games soundtrack as a free download.)
