The Dezerian Assignment Code Name: Redkey is a verbosely named RPG game that presents some interesting and innovative ideas, albeit in a package that is strangely put together and confusing. It features "hi-res" graphics (EGA) and offers both first-person driving and top-view adventuring. Driving requires pressing keys in a confusing and unnecessary sequence to get started (see below, or read the included docs) and its difficult to tell where youre going or whats going on. The top-view adventuring sections are equally puzzling, with slow controls and ambiguous graphics. Where am I and what am I doing? No guidance is provided. It looks like a lot of effort went into this but Im a bit stumped as to what exactly is going on here, maybe youll have more patience than I do!
