TextWars

About this game

TextWars is a text-mode game where your "ship" (you get to choose which ASCII character to use, woo!) is flying / falling down the screen, and you need to avoid the obstacles (stars) while gathering red blocks for speed reduction and white blocks for points. The game gradually gets faster if you dont grab enough red blocks. It plays similarly to Jellyfish, Pitfall and other similar text-mode games. Not too flashy or complicated but it does work fine if you enjoy this sort of game, except that holding down the arrow keys does buffer, so try to tap to move!
