About this game

TerraFire is an interesting variant on the Gravitar/Thrust type of gravity-based flying and shooting game. The follow-up to the developers modern take on Asteroids AstroFire, TerraFire uses the same great graphical style (POV-Ray pre-rendered 3D graphics) and SoundBlaster sounds as the previous entry. This time your objective is to find the nuke hidden somewhere in the level and drag it out to the surface. The controls take some getting used to, specifically the gravity aspect that you need to deal with in addition to shooting all of the enemies. But the game feels very solid and is great fun to play. Although originally shareware, the author has now released the entire full game for free!
