Talking ABCs

About this game

Talking ABCs is, as you would probably expect, a learning game for young children to help them learn the alphabet. After setting some initial difficulty options, it presents a scene, and a letter. Then, when you press the appropriate key, a picture is shown of something starting with that letter. One of the defining features of this program is the "talking" feature, where all of the phrases are read aloud using the PC speaker! This is fairly impressive technical achievement for a shareware game released in 1991, but not so much fun to listen to today. Still it could be useful for helping little ones learn their letters.
