About this game

Takatron is a Robotron-inspired shooting game with a Lion King theme. Yup, really. The author describes it thusly: "Take control of a bizarrely laser-powered Simba: destroy the Takatrons, save the Lionesses, reach adulthood and defeat Scar to take your place in the Circle of Life." It has bright flashing colors and crudely rendered Lion King sprites to shoot. Unlike the original arcade game, here you only shoot in the direction youre moving, so killing things is a bit trickier. However your opponents are generally easy to kill.
