About this game

Spore is a mash-up of genres: In this case, a text adventure game and a Breakout clone. (There is no relation whatsoever to the 2008 Spore game designed by Will Wright!) Anyways Im not sure anyone ever hoped for an interactive fiction game where suddenly youd be bouncing a ball off a paddle to break blocks, but ... here we are! The text adventure part is okay, and the Breakout clone is a bit clunky. But its definitely unique! (Tip: You enter the Breakout modes through the machines you find. Once you get a machine powered on, you need to ENTER LIGHT to start the Breakout game.) Source code in QuickBasic is included.
