About this game

Speculator is an in-depth land acquisition (real estate buying/selling) simulation game. Each in-game month takes 50 real world seconds, during which you must compete against three computer opponents to buy and sell land to earn the most money by the end of the game. Several maps are included in the game, each of which has different economic conditions that need to be considered. Suffice to say this is a complex game with many things to learn and many menu icons to learn. (The in-game help is 37 pages! Although some of that is how to order more maps from the publisher.) If you enjoy simulation games you may dig this, but know that its more pure simulation with a menu-driven interface, not like a certain sim game by the name of SimCity that this might superficially resemble.
