Simon the Sorcerer is a classic graphical adventure game, and one of the few well-known games of its type from its time that was not released by Sierra or Lucasarts. The plot follows the titular Simon, an average English boy who ends up being teleported into a magical land and must become a sorcerers apprentice. The style of the game is quite similar to Lucasarts titles such as Secret of Monkey Island, in both gameplay and its comedic tone. There are numerous parodies of fairytales in the game.
