About this game

One of the best DOS games ever? Probably! Released as the long-awaited follow up to iD Softwares classic DOOM, Quake had high expectations. In most ways, I think it met them. Or at least it met mine. It added fully 3D levels, cool new weapons and enemies, and ultra-fast frantic gameplay. And a lot of the color brown. I have spent many hours playing this classic, and still go back to play it sometimes.
