Pune

About this game

Pune is a snake variant which offers simultaneous shared keyboard play for two players. (Up to 6 in the registered version.) Apparently based on an Amiga game called "Dune 3", Pune looks a lot like it. Your goal is to avoid crashing into your opponents tail (or your own) while simultaneously attempting to get them to crash. You steer left and right by small degrees, so you are not just moving in the four cardinal directions. Your snake also leaves gaps in its tail, which allow other players a bit more opportunity to avoid being trapped. Overall it plays well, too bad only two players are allowed in the shareware version. Also too bad about those sound effects ... you may want to turn down the volume for this one ...
