About this game

Princess Red Keyboard Warrior is a short adventure game created for an online game-making contest #bitbitjam3. Created as a homage to the simple games of old (especially the ending screen) it does succeed, with its CGA graphics and PC speaker music. Gameplay is very simple and the game is short (you can probably finish it in 5mins) but it still has a retro-aesthetic about it that is nonetheless charming. Your princess character is given a standard quest, and then must battle monsters encountered in random battles along the way by quickly typing words as they appear on the screen. Full QBasic source code is included.
