DOSGames.com Review: Rating: 4.5 Popcorn is a famous Arkanoid clone created in 1988 by a pair of French developers, Christophe Lacaze (code) and Frédérick (graphics/.sounds). This CGA Arkanoid clone was quite popular back in the early DOS days and was widely distributed online, for good reason! It plays quite well, and simulates most of the features of Arkanoid, albeit in CGA mode. The goal is the same: Break all the bricks on the level to progress. There are 50 levels in all, plus a level editor to create your own. The text of the game is in French but its not too difficult to figure out whats what.
