About this game

Pitfall is probably the original "falling down a well" game which likely inspired other similar games like Deep and Jellyfish. The object of this simple game is simply to move left and right as your ship (¥) falls down an ASCII well. Avoid walls (10 hits = death) and smileys (instant death) while collecting stars for points. Thats it! Monochome only text-mode.
