About this game

Pickle Wars is a sidescrolling shooting, jumping, and item collection game. The gameplay itself is fairly basic, the animation is a bit clunky but overall the game still plays fairly well. The plot is that giant pickle-shaped aliens are trying to take over the Earth, and only brave Dave, armed with his Salad Shooter, can save the world. The graphics and sound effects are pretty average, but both are unique, as is the storyline. I didnt personally enjoy it as much as Apogee or Epics sidescrollers, but youll have to try it out for yourself ... its a relatively well-known game from its time.
