Outburst - The Game of Topics

About this game

Outburst is a board game, originally developed in 1986, that seems similar to the still-popular Family Feud game show. A topic/category is shown, and the participant(s) must guess the top answers related to that topic. This text-mode DOS version allows two players to go head-to-head, or allows a single player to challenge the computer with varying difficulty settings. A sample topic is "PARTS OF A TACO" of which includes the shell, cheese, meat, etc. The game works pretty well, although it shows you the topic before the timer starts with an opportunity to pass, which allows you unlimited time to think of answers before starting the timer, so the timer is basically useless.
