Operation Spacehog

About this game

Operation Spacehog is an enjoyable, well-designed and playable SHMUP. The game scrolls horizontally from left to right, and the gameplay is similar to Gradius in how you collect powerups to earn different abilities, and you can choose to use your powerup right away, or wait to collect more to fill your bar and choose a different ability. Unlike most space shooting games there is actually a story here, told both before the game and during cutscenes in-between the levels. You can even choose different ships to fly with slightly different attributes. It also features two player simultaneous play! The main problem with the game is that there seems to be a lot of the same stuff in the levels, but maybe I just didnt make it far enough.
