About this game

Oh No! More Lemmings gives you exactly what youd expect from a sequel to the original classic Lemmings game: More! More of the same basically, the same engine and lemming abilities with 100 new levels. The quality of the levels is, according to a review I read, a bit dubious compared to the original game. However if you have already played the original and are looking for some additional levels, this is a decent source. The demo only provides a few of the many levels available in the full game.Oh No! More Lemmings is a DOS-based puzzle game and the sequel to the highly popular game Lemmings. Released in 1991 by Psygnosis, it continues the franchises unique formula of guiding the titular lemmings, small, hapless creatures, through increasingly difficult obstacle-filled levels. As with the original game, the goal is to help the lemmings safely navigate each stage to reach an exit without them falling to their doom. Gameplay Core Objective: The primary goal of Oh No! More Lemmings is to lead a group of lemmings through each level, using their various skills to avoid traps, hazards, and obstacles. Players must use the right combination of skills to ensure the lemmings reach the exit before time runs out or too many lemmings are lost. How to Play: Skills and Abilities: The game features a range of skills that can be assigned to individual lemmings to help them overcome obstacles. These skills include: Climbing: Lemmings can climb walls to reach higher ground. Digging: Lemmings can dig through soft ground to create paths or avoid obstacles. Blocking: Some lemmings can block others from walking into dangerous areas. Bridging: Lemmings can create bridges over gaps or rivers. Bashing: Lemmings can bash through walls or barriers. Parachuting: Lemmings can safely descend from great heights by deploying parachutes. Exploding: Some lemmings can blow themselves up to clear paths or remove obstacles. Assigning Skills: Players have control over the skills that each lemming can use. The challenge is to assign the appropriate skills to the right lemmings in the right order to safely guide the group to the exit. Limited Time and Lemmings: Each level has a time limit and a limited number of lemmings. If too many lemmings are lost (falling into traps, walking into walls, or falling off ledges), the level is failed. Levels and Progression: The game features over 100 levels across various difficulty stages. The levels become progressively more challenging, with more obstacles and requiring more strategic use of the available skills. Features New and Improved Features: While retaining the original games core mechanics, Oh No! More Lemmings introduced several new features: More lemming skills, allowing for a greater range of creative solutions to each level. The ability to assign multiple skills to a single lemming, allowing for more complex strategies. Tougher puzzles that require careful planning and management of the lemmings. Puzzle Solving: As with the original, Oh No! More Lemmings is primarily a puzzle game that requires players to think ahead and use their limited resources effectively. Each level is essentially a logic puzzle that demands thoughtful decision-making. Animated and Fun Design: The lemmings are cute and humorous, with their quirky movements and amusing reactions when they succeed or fail. This adds a layer of charm and fun to the challenging puzzles. Level Editor: The game also includes a level editor, allowing players to create their own levels and share them with others. This feature greatly expanded the games replayability and community involvement.
