About this game

Mummies is a perfectly competent and simple action / strategy game in text mode from 1987, created by an anonymous author. There are only three things to worry about in the game: You, the mummies, and the pits. Your object is to lure the mummies into the pits, without falling in yourself or getting caught by them. You can set a variety of options (number of mummies, pits, speed ...) and then try to survive. Its similar to a bunch of other games with the same basic gameplay mechanic, though Im still not sure where this type of game originated. In any case, its a simple textmode game so give it a shot.
