Motor Mania

About this game

Motor Mania is a CGA PC interpretation of the classic Excitebike game. It plays similarly to the Nintendo classic; the author mentions basing it on the arcade game, but the registered version supposedly includes a track editor, so I imagine they had some knowledge of the NES port as well. The game involves driving your motorcycle to the finish line as fast as possible. The track is littered with ramps and other obstacles that can slow you down. Dont overheat by using your turbo too much! The controls are not too obvious (F9 and F10 keys are used for accelerate and turbo, respectively) though they may have made more sense on 1989 keyboards. Also the game for some reason reboots the computer (or closes DOSBox) when you quit the game.
