Mario Teaches Typing

If you were a kid with a PC but no Super Nintendo Entertainment System back in 1992 (or even the original NES) it may have been exciting to hear that there were some official Mario games coming to PC! Unfortunately they were "edutainment" games created by Interplay, not by Nintendo themselves. Mario Teaches Typing is at least upfront about what it is. The game does LOOK like a Mario game with colorful graphics and well known characters like Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toad making appearances. And it does attempt to teach you typing through a series of four typing mini games. This demo version seems to only include the first of these mini games, "Marios Smash & Dash", whereas the full version also includes "Marios Wet World Challenge", "Marios Tunnel Of Doom", and "Marios Expert Express", all of which are likely less fun than they sound. The program does seem to keep track of the players statistics and allows for multiple profiles.
