Hoverski

About this game

Hoverski is an interesting racing-type game which seems to have a lot of promise, however the actual execution is only average at best. The object is to race your hoverski around the track and complete the race as quickly as possible without running out of fuel. You can do tricks off jumps to gain more fuel. From the initial presentation I was expecting perhaps something like Wave Race 64 (which was released in 1996, a year before this game) but I suppose that was a bit unrealistic! The game is presented in 2D with a tiny (albeit well-animated) sprite repesenting your hoverski. The controls are responsive but the hoverski slides around a LOT and will take a lot of trial and error to get used to how it moves.
