Gold Runner is a Lode Runner clone. It has passable graphics, but does include Sound Blaster midi-sounding music and some sound effects. The levels start off easy (theres no way to die on the first level) but the difficulty ramps up significantly on the second level! There seem to be a lot of fake blocks in the levels that cause you to fall down, so there will be a lot of trial-and-error to progress. Controls work well enough, but there are better Lode Runner clones out there.Gold Runner is a classic action-platformer released in the early 1990s, where the player takes on the role of a daring adventurer who is tasked with collecting gold while avoiding various obstacles and enemies. It is set in a treasure-filled environment that combines elements of exploration and quick reflexes.
