Gateway to Another World

About this game

Gateway to Another World is not to be confused with the platform/adventure game Another World, aka Out of This World. This game (hereafter GTAW) is a turn-based CRPG. It may have been coded in QuickBasic (it has that kinda look/feel) but Im not sure. There is not much story beyond trying to find out why strange creatures are invading. Youll need to explore a large but mostly baren world, including towns with few people in them, to find out. Dont forget to buy a weapon and armor before leaving town because otherwise you wont be able to hurt monsters that you encounter. The graphics are passable, I couldnt get sound to work in DOSBox, and the gameplay feels a bit finnicky and glitchy. Its not great but worth a look if you enjoy this sort of game.
