About this game

Excelsior is an innovative and in-depth RPG. It uses text-mode graphics with a custom character set, 2x1 tiles (your character and most objects are two characters wide) and even includes animated tiles. The story involves being a "Fixer" who travels between dimensions solving irregularities / problems as they occur. It plays like a typical old-style RPG, with turn-based battles, many items / weapons / armors / spells to acquire, and a huge world to explore.
