Dzzee

About this game

Modern DOS games are still being created, and Dzzee is a great example of a simple but graphically impressive game that is fun to play. It looks sort of like Tempest, and gameplay is simple: Stay on the lines and avoid the gaps. The whole structure rotates around and you need to move up and down on the lines to avoid those gaps. The game looks good and plays fluidly, and there are subtle variations of the gameplay that evolve as you continue playing. There is a Windows 95 (and beyond) version includes, and even a version that uses Glide 3Dfx mode if you want to try that, although it seems like it is not working on real hardware at the moment.
