Duke Nukem II
About this game
Between the original, classic Duke and the kickass Duke Nukem 3D came the unheralded sequel, Duke II. (Which really wouldve been Duke 4, if you counted the "registered-only" episodes 2 and 3.) The main advantages of the sequel over the original are in the areas of its graphics (in-game graphics, besides the introduction and some cutscenes, are still EGA, but they look better) and sound (SB instead of the PC speaker).Duke Nukem II (DOS) is a side-scrolling platformer released in 1993 as the second game in the Duke Nukem series. Developed by Apogee Software (later known as 3D Realms), it followed the original Duke Nukem (1991) and was a significant step up, introducing more advanced gameplay and graphics compared to its predecessor. This title laid the foundation for the later, much more famous Duke Nukem 3D, although it retained the classic 2D side-scrolling gameplay.
