Written by a high school student and sometimes referred to as the "original GTA", the game has really nothing to do with Grand Theft Auto, and more to do with a stock market type simulation game that happens to have the theme of a drug dealer. In the game, you are given $2,000, and you need to buy and sell drugs to turn that into at least $5,500 to pay off your debt. As you move to different areas, time progresses, random events may occur, and the prices of the drugs changes. The game is presented in a distinct text mode system in monochrome, so youll have to use your imagination. This game served as the inspiration for several other similar games, and was played by countless kids in high school IT labs back in the day.
