Dark Woods 2 is an interesting hybrid strategy/puzzle/adventure game. The objectives for each level vary, but the game involves a series of single-screen challenges. The game is done using ASCII "graphics" and there are no sound effects, yet the gameplay is strangely inviting. You can also make/play your own game maps (see the included file "mapmaker.txt" for instructions how to make your own maps).Dark Woods 2 is a DOS-based adventure game and a sequel to the original Dark Woods. It builds on the atmosphere and themes of the first game, offering a continuation of the story and an expansion of its eerie world. Like its predecessor, Dark Woods 2 is steeped in mystery, exploration, and survival horror elements, with an even more intense focus on eerie landscapes, psychological tension, and dark storytelling.
