Cochese
About this game
A pushing puzzle game, where you must collect various "bad" things (drugs, needles, etc.) and get to the exit within a certain number of moves. The graphics are fairly average MCGA fare, and theres no sound effects, but it could be enjoyable nonetheless. (Note: The game has a strong anti-drug message.)Cochese is a relatively obscure DOS game released in the early 1990s. It is a puzzle game with a unique combination of elements involving strategy, quick thinking, and pattern recognition. The gameplay is somewhat simplistic, but it provides an engaging challenge for players interested in arcade-style puzzles. Tile Matching: Players interact with a grid of tiles, each displaying a different color or pattern. The objective is to match specific tiles by color or pattern, depending on the game’s rules. Matching tiles results in their removal from the grid, and the player gains points. Level Progression: The game features multiple levels, each presenting a new puzzle to solve or more challenging tile layouts to manage. As players progress, the complexity of the puzzles increases, with faster gameplay, more tile colors, and new rules introduced in each stage. Time Pressure and Scoring: Many levels are time-sensitive, requiring players to act quickly and plan their moves to clear tiles before the time runs out. There is usually a score system that rewards players for completing levels quickly and efficiently, as well as for making large tile combinations or clearing obstacles. Obstacles and Power-Ups: In addition to matching tiles, players may face obstacles that make it harder to clear the grid, such as locked tiles, barriers, or limited moves. Some versions of the game might offer power-ups that can help clear difficult sections, such as a tile-shuffling feature or a temporary hint to guide the player.
