About this game

Galaxia is, of course, a clone of the Namco arcade game Galaxian. Adding to the many other DOS-based clone games from CHAMProgramming (aka CHAMP Games) Galaxia does a fine job of emulating Galaxian. The gameplay, graphics, and sounds are all very similar:CHAMP Galaxia is a DOS-based arcade-style space shooter developed by CHAMP Games. It is inspired by classic space-themed shooters, particularly Galaxian and Galaga, which were hugely popular in the late 70s and early 80s. The game retains the core mechanics of those classics but adds enhanced graphics, smoother controls, and some modern features, offering a fresh take on the retro genre.
