It plays the same as the classic game from Sega: Shapes comprised of stacks of three different blocks fall down the well, and you must change the order of the blocks and place them effectively in order to match three or more of the same shape.Chain Reaction is a puzzle game for DOS that closely mimics Sega’s classic Columns. It offers engaging match-3 gameplay where falling stacks of blocks must be rearranged and strategically placed to create combinations and clear the board. Objective: Clear as many blocks as possible by creating matches before the well fills up. Core Mechanics: Falling Blocks: Each piece is a vertical stack of three blocks, which can be rearranged as it descends. Matching: Align three or more blocks of the same shape or color in a row (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) to clear them. Chain Reactions: Clearing blocks may cause others to fall into place, triggering cascading matches for bonus points. Increasing Difficulty: As the game progresses, blocks fall faster, demanding quicker reactions and better planning.
