About this game

Big Guns is a 2-player battleship simulator game. (The author spells it "Bigguns" in the included docs but its always "Big Guns" in the game itself.) Although its called a simulation, its pretty arcade-y since you basically just maneuver the battleship around and shoot at other boats. Big Guns is a fast-paced, action-packed DOS game where players take control of a heavily-armed tank to defend against waves of enemy forces. Combining elements of strategy, combat, and artillery-based gameplay, the game challenges players to use their firepower and tactical skills to protect key locations and defeat the advancing enemies. Features: Tank Warfare: As the commander of a heavily-armed tank, you’ll engage in explosive battles against enemy forces. Use your tanks powerful weapons to destroy enemies, vehicles, and structures while avoiding damage. Strategic Combat: While the gameplay is focused on action, you’ll need to think strategically. Position your tank carefully, choose the right weapons for each situation, and manage your ammunition efficiently to survive the onslaught. Multiple Levels: Fight across diverse landscapes, including cities, forests, and military bases. Each level presents new enemies, challenges, and tactical environments, increasing in difficulty as you progress. Variety of Weapons: Equip your tank with different types of weapons, including machine guns, rocket launchers, and artillery. Each weapon offers a unique advantage, allowing you to customize your approach to each battle. Power-ups and Upgrades: Collect power-ups and upgrades during gameplay to enhance your tanks firepower, speed, or armor. These boosts are essential to survive tougher waves of enemies and advance through the levels.
