Astro3D is an interesting game with great graphics (for the time!) and an interesting premise. As you might suspect, its basically an updated 3D version of Asteroids. Your ship is floating in an asteroid-heavy area of space, and each level gives you a specific mission to accomplish (ex, destroy all the mines). Astro3D is a DOS-based space combat game that offers an immersive 3D experience in a retro style. Players take control of a spacecraft navigating through various cosmic environments, battling hostile alien forces, and completing missions in deep space.
