Classic Domino
About this game
Classic Partnership domino game. Try to play your tiles on the table before your opponent does. You play in partnership.Classic Dominoes (HTML5) is a digital version of the popular tile-based game known as "Dominoes." In this game, players use a set of rectangular tiles, each divided into two squares, with each square containing a number of dots. The goal is to match tiles based on their numbers and be the first to play all your tiles, or to achieve the highest score by the end of the game. Tile Setup: Each player starts with a set of dominoes (usually seven tiles). The remaining tiles are placed face down in a "boneyard." The game starts with the player who has the highest double (the tile with the same number of dots on both ends). If no player has a double, the game begins with the highest tile. Playing Tiles: Players take turns playing one tile at a time. A tile can only be played if its number matches one of the exposed ends of the tile chain. If a player cannot make a move, they draw a tile from the boneyard until they can play a tile or the boneyard is empty. Winning the Game: Block Mode: If no player can make a move and the boneyard is empty, the game ends, and the player with the fewest dots left on their tiles wins. Draw Mode: The game ends when a player runs out of tiles or no one can make a move. The player who has played all their tiles wins the round. All Fives Mode: In this variant, players score extra points when the total number of pips on the open ends of the domino chain is a multiple of five. Scoring: In All Fives Mode, points are scored every time the sum of the numbers on the exposed ends is a multiple of five. The score is counted based on the number of dots in the remaining tiles after a round is over. If a player has fewer dots left, they score higher. Special Tiles: Doubles are tiles where both numbers are the same (e.g., 6-6). They are placed perpendicular to the other tiles and usually serve as a "starter" in the game.
