About this game

The classic Solitaire game. Move all cards to the four top foundations from Ace to King. On the tableau build down and alternate color.Classic Solitaire (HTML) is the browser-based version of the popular single-player card game, often referred to as "Klondike Solitaire." It’s a relaxing yet challenging game where you aim to organize a shuffled deck of cards into four piles, one for each suit, in ascending order, from Ace to King. Objective: The goal of Classic Solitaire is to arrange all the cards into four foundation piles, each representing one of the suits (hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades). Each pile should be organized from Ace to King in ascending order. Rules: Deal Cards: The game starts with seven tableau piles, where cards are placed face-up in a sequence. The remaining cards form the stockpile. Foundation Piles: Build each suit from Ace to King. Cards in the tableau need to be moved to the foundation piles by following suit and ascending order. Tableau: Each tableau pile can have cards in descending order and alternating colors. For example, a red 7 can be placed on a black 8, and so on. Stockpile: Cards that are not in play can be drawn from the stockpile. Typically, cards from the stock are drawn in groups of three or one at a time, depending on the game settings. Empty Spaces: If a tableau pile is empty, only a King can be placed in that space. Game Mechanics: Drag and Drop: You can click and drag cards to the foundation piles or tableau piles. When placing a card in the tableau, it must follow the rules of alternating colors and descending order. Drawing Cards: If you can’t make a move in the tableau, you draw cards from the stockpile. Undo/Redo: Some versions of the game may allow you to undo and redo moves, helping you experiment and learn the best strategy. Victory Conditions: The game is won when all cards are arranged in the four foundation piles, from Ace to King, by suit. If no more moves are possible, the game ends in a loss.
